Written by admin • File Under: Interviews,News

Shortly after the upcoming holiday season, Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z will have yet another reason to celebrate.

According to a report, the “Crazy in Love” songstress has announced that she’s due to give birth sometime in February 2012.

During her appearance on Australia’s “Sunday Night,” Beyonce shared the big news, also gushing about her experience with pregnancy.

“[Being pregnant] already has changed my life. My husband and I have been together for 10 years, all of my twenties. I just feel like it’s time and I’m very grateful that God has blessed me with the biggest gift any human can have.”

“I think because I’ve accomplished a lot of things for myself and I really know who I am, I didn’t rush into anything. If there’s any time, right now is the time, and I’m so happy.”

Beyoncé: My New Perfume Was Inspired by Sasha Fierce!
Written by admin • File Under: Interviews,News,Pulse Fragrance

Beyonce’s third solo album “I Am…Sasha Fierce” proved to be successful with eight chart-topping hits. And now, the singer is hoping to channel some of the same achievement in her newest fragrance.

“[The perfume] was inspired by Sasha Fierce. I wanted to bring something that’s inside every woman to make her feel confident and feel like she can have all of the men,” the Grammy-winning artist explained at the launch for her new fragrance, Beyonce Pulse, in NYC Wednesday.

The perfume for women, which is out in stores now, follows in the footsteps of her two previously launched scents, Heat and Heat Rush.

“I’m really proud of it,” she said. “I wanted to make sure it was something that brought out a women’s sensuality and something electric. Beyonce Pulse is a bit fresher: it has a bit citrus in it with a contrast of vanilla.”

Besides a line of fragrances, the 30-year-old star also partners with momTina Knowles on House of Dereon, a womenswear line, which the duo just debuted at London Fashion Week September 17.

“I am a woman who believes that women are entrepreneurs and we are strong and have opinions,” said the star. “I love being a woman! I am so lucky I’m able to express myself with my fashion and also my fragrances where I can incorporate something more chic and modern.”

Jay-Z Calls Beyonce the “Second Coming of Michael Jackson”
Written by admin • File Under: News

Beyonce has some pretty big shoes to feel, if her husband Jay-Z has anything to do with it!

Jay-Z, who is currently promoting his new joint album with Kanye West “Watch the Throne,” called up a radio station a few days ago for in interview where he discussed his new project, his top spot on the Forbes Hip-Hop Cash Kings list, his upcoming “Watch the Throne” Tour and how Beyonce is the “second coming of Michael Jackson.”

“What I’ve learned from her is similar to what I learned from [Michael Jackson] – and I know that’s blasphemy to compare the two because Mike was such an innovator – but I think she’s like the second coming,” he told 99 Jamz.

“Y’know, the hard work and dedication that she puts into her shows. It just makes you want to work harder at your own craft. She’s like a machine,” he continued.
